Temple Bhajan Band is a devotional kirtan band with more than 30 years of history, based in Los Angeles. Formally the band was lead by Sura Dasa, who was one of the forerunners to spread traditional kirtan (congregational chanting , originally from ancient India) in the Los Angeles area. Our music is devotional, fun, and soulful. Please come, chant and dance with us!

Temple Bhajan Band is a devotional kirtan band with more than 30 years of history, based in Los Angeles. It was originally led by Sura Dasa, one of the pioneers in introducing traditional kirtan, the mantra-based chanting tradition of ancient India, to Southern California.

Through mantras, music, and collective participation, the group's performances create an experience of joy, connection, and spiritual upliftment. Each presentation invites the audience to open their hearts, share in the energy of chanting, and celebrate unity through music.
